Startling revelation about Blogless Thursday
I have long wondered why I am seized with an overwhelming urge to go blogless on Thursdays. Well, I think I’ve figured it out. Shocking new evidence indicates that bloglessness, at least on Thursdays, is next to Godliness. Behold, I present to you THE EVIDENCE -
Yes, my friends – it’s shocking but true. Apparently, there were originally 15 comandments. So far, two of them have been completely translated, with the majority of scholars in agreement when verifying these translations.
Number 13 quite specifically forbade sub-prime lending… yeah, that was my reaction, too.
And Number 11 stated quite emphatically, “Thou Shalt Not Blog On Thursdays”. Of course, that is the translation from the Greek. The ancient Aramaic translation would have it more like, “Remember To Keep Thursdays Blogless”. Either way, the result is the same. Irrefutable evidence indicates that by divine decree, we are not meant to blog on Thursdays.
So, I’m not going to. Blog today, I mean. But, y’all go ahead. I understand. Not everyone is observant. I bet a few of you mow your lawns on Sundays, too. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I would never judge you. Honest. Now run along and blog, if you feel you must. I’ll just sit here, blogless, and catch up with y’all tomorrow for Skywatch.

I can’t wait to hear what commandments 12, 14 and 15 were — and as for your sinner-ish friends, surely the divine would be more compassionate to the occasional Thursday-blogger than to the sub-prime lenders, and yet it looks like they could come out smelling like a rose. Oh Lord, your ways are indeed mysterious.
