  3. Great shot. I never find anything quite that interesting on the beach – a bird or two but hardly any worthwhile shells and certainly no scallops.

  5. That’s a lot of scallops. I wish our ocean was warm enough to visit in the winter. It’s actually quite cold even in the summer.

  6. Looks like that beach is quite flat, and could go on forever. Just imagine how many scallops must have washed up there…

  10. Mmm… scallops. I’ll take mine sauteed in white wine and garlic please, hold the bird.

    Beautiful shot. The beaches by me are sandy. Lovely for sunbathing and sandcastle building but definitely less visually interesting.

  14. Lovely shot for WW! I enjoy beachcombing too, but not for food like the birds. Some pretty beach glass for my pocket or some interesting jetsam to photograph will do.
