Well, I can think of one they left out. I think you are actually supposed to have a Lee County Parking Sticker in order to park there legally. They probably ran out of room. Ha!

Makes you wonder about the XXXXheads out there that caused these rules to be posted in the first place!!

Let’s see–No Overnight parking. Yeah, right. I’ve seen cars & campers there who I know have parked overnight. Dogs must be on a leash. Again, year right. But I didn’t know you were supposed to have a Lee County Parking sticker, Tootie. That’s a new one to me. Does that mean a Sanibel sticker won’t work?

Pretty lots of “NO’s” can’t there be “YESes” too? Signs are really funny. Thanks and great to see you again.

Hey maybe you guys & gals can answer me a question. I moved into the area about a month ago and I bought a hot dog vending cart. I’ve had a heck of time trying to find locations. They tell me that there is a guy who does that on the Causeway, but I’ve only been over there during the week and haven’t seen him. I assume he’s there on the weekend. If you know of him; is he driving a lunch wagon, where he can clear out fast or a hot dog cart like mine which hitches to the back of your car and takes some time to set up. I was told by Sanibel City Hall that it’s not they’re jurisdiction for permits, but the Lee County Park System. I haven’t had any luck with the LCPS; almost seems like they don’t want them in any of they’re park locations, although I haven’t mentioned the Causeway. That makes me think this guy selling hot dogs & hamburgers doesn’t have a permit, but that nobody bothers him there. I don’t really want to cut into his business, but if he’s not there during the week and only on the weekends, maybe I could take up the slack. I just don’t want to put a bug in the ear of the LCPS so that they don’t come over and boot us both out.
