We did the entire country walk from Mexico down to Canada, crossing pennies off our list as we went. The Broadway version of Simba, below, was found at the Outpost. Isn’t he cute? When we got to the Outpost, I saw the threatening skies and felt the wind and decided to ask the lady if she had any ponchos behind the register… good thing too, cause it started to POUR. This made getting into and out of the stores with the penny machines very difficult, as they were jammed with those who wished to remain dry.
When we got to Canada, we went in to see the new film with Martin Short, and then proceeded to the UK, where we caught the tail end of the British Invasion. We stayed there a bit and then crossed back over the English Channel for our dinner reservations.
