Wordless, Tuesday Edition

What a beautiful weekend we had for shelling and for the fellowship of friends! Sunday was spent on Sanibel shelling with Chris and Jon; we met up with Dale and Wayne on the beach late in the day. Yesterday (Monday) was spent adventuring on Pine Island Sound. The whole weekend was Sunny and warm, not a cloud in the blue, blue skies, and the water was that clear aquamarine color that only happens on the Gulf coast of Southwest Florida.

We traveled up to Cayo Costa for some shelling (got there before the tour boats, heh heh heh!), and then went to Barnacle Phil’s on North Captiva for lunch. While some of us were shelling, others went out for a little catch-and-release fishing. Between the fish and the shells, everyone had smiles on their faces.

I’ll be sorting through and posting more photos during the course of the week, and I’ve got a few video clips to share, too. For now, I hear the call of duty (you know, that thing I do to make money – that JOB thing, ugh!) 😀 Catch you later!

  1. That is one great photo! Looks like a marvelous setting for fun and fellowship for sure. Enjoy…

  2. My WW pic/painting is indeed a man by a Merry-Go-Round, and he sure looks like a viking.. 😉 It is inspired by a Russian painter called Malevitj.

    Love your shot btw!
    Happy WW-day! 🙂

  3. Great shot. Sounds like you had a fun time. One of these days I’m going to get to Cayo Costa too.

  4. That’s a nice shot 🙂 If I were there and being the clumsy me, it would have flew off before I could remove my lens cover! lol~

Thanks for your birthday wishes 🙂
