Sanibel causeway sad lane

Awesome day with friend vacationing on Sanibel – screen name "steinbecke". We gabbed over brunch for several hours, and gabbed for several more hours hours sitting on the beach with cold Coronas. And then we went shelling for a couple of hours. We found great stuff in the tidal pool. I found a LIVE alphabet cone, and there were lots of live olives too, something I’ve personally never witnessed before. What an awesome day!

  1. An awesome photo to go with your awesome day Tink 😀

Beautiful, beautiful photo – the proportions are perfect. All your photos are excellent, but this one is extra special. Very well done!

  2. How exciting! I have never seen a live olive or alphabet — now that I know they’re around, I will be keeping my sanibel eyes peeled on my next trip!

  3. Hey Tink, these would make good Sky Looking posts. Yours hit the road and is gone!
Happy Sky Looking, I hope you find the errant posting. 🙂

  4. Sounds like a great hangout with your friend, Coronas;beach;shelling = perfect!

My daughter went shell-hunting at the beach yesterday too, she had the idea that mom’s fish tank was looking to bare and she HAD to decorate it 😛
