🙂 First one friend posted that he would be in Disney World mid-December and then another friend said she would be there, too. And then, yet another friend texted me last night to let me know there was a behind-the-scenes special on HGTV, all about decorating Disney World for Christmas. The sight of the sparkly, shimmery castle was too much for me. I hopped online, saw that I had enough points for two free nights at the Swan, and booked it before I could think twice.
Looking forward to seeing my friends. Looking forward to Holidays Around The World at EPCOT. Looking forward to seeing the sparkly, shimmery castle at the Magic Kingdom!
Speaking of booking free nights at the Swan, someone wrote and asked me what that was all about. I do it through the Starwood American Express card. You can redeem the points for hotel stays. If anyone out there is interested in this card, please shoot me an email – BellTinkR at gmail dot com – so I can refer you!

It’ll be so bright I might be able to see the lights from here! Have a super good time.
I’m so excited for you…looking forward to your unique perspective and wonderful pics! 😀
The Epcot sign has a wonderful motif, the ruby candle my favorite. The tree that is visible is lovely, but you have captured the friendships and collegiality of a special time together. Togetherness and this season make us long for friends and family, and happily you can meet again!
What a great event to look forward to!! enjoy Epcot, have fun, fun, fun!!
Happy RT, mine is posted here.
Enjoy Epcot. My 23-year-old son and his girlfriend, along with her family will be Disney World/Epcot for a week over Christmas. I am surprised that I was not invited (not really). Thanks for sharing.
