Disneyland, Disneyworld – what’s the difference?

Geography of Disneyland — National Geographic Education.

Cute, informative little gallery, and I love National Geographic – but I have a problem when they call their article, “Geography of DisneyLAND” and then lead off with the castle at Disney WORLD. At least they identified the correct location in the caption.

One of the first things I noticed, aside from the above gaffe with the Castle, is that the Matterhorn bears a striking resemblance, in profile anyway, to the Harry Potter Sorting Hat

An expanded version of the information you’ll find the gallery captions can be found here – Disneyland’s Virtual Geography

Oh, and in case you were wondering how to pronounce it, repeat after me: NOY-shwahn-styne.

You’re welcome 😉
