I had a little smile and a nostalgic flashback – as I do whenever someone says ‘good night’ to an inanimate object.
(I had to read “Goodnight Moon” to my DS for many years – it was one of his favorite bedtime stories.)
“Goodnight room. Goodnight moon. Goodnight cow jumping over the moon…”
…and Goodnight Spaceship Earth. 🙂
