Some folks like these chairs – I think it’s sort of creepy (and even creepier if you sit in them – the horror!)
As symbolism goes, nothing in all of Disney World speaks to me quite as eloquently as the torri gate at EPCOT’s Japan. It marks the transition from the material world to the spiritual world. Today’s sky only adds to the ambiance.
The family won’t be here from NY for several hours so I am heading intoEPCOT during the wait. Lots cooler than the last time I was here!
I know I was just here at the beginning of the month. But my favorite youngest brother invited me. What’s a woman to do ? 😉
I learned a valuable lesson last Friday evening as I was crossing the Sanibel Causeway at sunset – a dirty windshield is far more visible when the glare of full sunlight is not present! I turned on the radio and got a funky blues pop tune, which seemed to match the mood of the sky. Enjoy 🙂

A special edition of ILLUMINATIONS: REFLECTIONS OF EARTH was presented at EPCOT in Walt Disney World on the evening of that theme park’s 30the anniversary on October 1st 2012. Here is some really, REALLY primitive video of the event. The show ran 18 minutes long with the extra tribute fireworks, which reverberated in the ears and chest, and scared the heck out of the local flock of ducks (at about 17 minutes, 41 seconds, you’ll see a few of them leaving). We had the EXCELLENT harvest moon alongside the show too, dancing in and out of clouds that flashed frequently with heat lightning. It was nice of Disney to arrange that for us 😉 Hope you all enjoy.

I asked for the "Caper cream" on the side because I have never had it before and it might ruin my life if they put it on my fish!
I am headed over there now to see what tempts me for dinner
Need to think about a light meal (confession: I had a Mickey bar) and then it’s on to Kimonos for fun with friends
Sometimes this is faster than staying on the bus when you’re staying at the Swolphin.
Since I have been there and done that a few times over, I won’t be staying for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. Heading back to hotel, meeting up with friends again later for some evening frivolity at Kimonos.
Line is moving quickly, especially with friends to visit with.
Easy Fast Pass time, good ride. We are now in search of air conditioned attractions

These guys appear every year. I don’t know why, but I don’t find that irritating the way I find the lame Food and Wine deco repeats irritating. I guess these guys just aren’t lame 🙂
