A rain cloud has chased us back in – we were all the way to Redfish Pass and decided to come back to San Carlos Bay. Hoping it goes inland!

Matanzas Pass
We are floating through the No-wake zone of the Pass. "Matanzas" allegedly means "murder"; this is the place where, according o legend, Ponce de Leon’s armor was fatally pierced by a Calusa spear. As legends go, it doesn’t get any better than that!
Today’s Adventure: Boating from Fort Myers Beach
Friends messaged me last night to say they were going out on the boat today, and did I want to come along? You bet I do – lets go!
