“You have arrived…”

"You have arrived…", originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*.

That’s what the GPS lady always says, but I don’t need GPS to get to The happiest Place on Earth. I had not been here more than 2 minutes and already had three great CM encounters.

1. The security dude doing bag check looked deep into my eyes and said, "Have fun, Princess."
2. The CM at the turnstiles took note of the fact that Goofy is on my AP and said, "hey there, no goofin’ around now haw haw haw!" just like Goofy
3. I’ll tell you the third one in a minute…

Pearly Gates for the last time

Until next month, that is. Another niece is coming to visit so of course, we need to visit Mouse Mecca 🙂

The family is having lunch in EPCOT and then proceeding to the Studios before heading out to MCO. I have just arrived at Studios and I am on the tram, trundling toward the gates.

Mickey and Minnie chillin’ at the castle

Bunch of rude people here today – it never ceases to amaze me when I’m taking a picture and people have no consciousness that they are walking in front of me or actually posing in my picture. WAKE UP, PEEPS!

“Chinese Princess Minnie” – ???

121220091843-Disney-Minnie-Chinese-red🙂 Night was falling on the Magic Kingdom, and I was browsing in the Art of Disney store on Main Street USA, amusing myself until it was time to take up a position for the fireworks. I came upon this odd statue of Minnie Mouse. I’m not sure who she’s supposed to be dressed like, but it seemed to me she’s supposed to be some sort of Chinese princess.

If anyone knows what this “Chinese Princess Minnie” is all about, please enlighten me!

The style felt very familiar to me, and it wasn’t until I’d been home several weeks and was staring at this photo that I realized why she felt familiar. Here’s a little collections of photos I’ve taken of what the style of this statue reminds me of – the Chinese Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Here’s the chef – I think he makes those delicious bakery items…

Around the hub, just in front of the castle, the classic Disney characters show off their “Three Musketeers” Halloween costumes. Here’s Pluto…

… followed by the lovely Princess Minnie Mouse.

Here we have Musketeer Donald Duck, holding a jack-o-lantern that’s been carved with the image of his beloved Daisy Duck.

This final image is dedicated to Debbie In Paradise – feel better soon, my friend!
