:)If you are a fan of Walt Disney World, then you’ve probably heard of the Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Florida. This is where seriously ill children can come to have their wish for a visit to Orlando fulfilled. If I lived closer to Kissimmee (I’m about 3 hours away by car), I would definitely volunteer there.
The Give Kids The World Village opened in 1989. The villas there are now more than 20 years old and need repairs to keep them “safe and accessible”. They’ve submitted their funding request to the Pepsi Refresh Everything program. As of this writing, they are in 16th place – only the top TWO will receive the funding they’ve requested. Now, it’s all up to YOU!
